Software architecture

Decisions that are cheap now and expensive later.

Work with senior architects to shape systems that fit your domain, scale and team. We review existing systems, map trade-offs honestly and document the decisions that matter — so the choices made early support, rather than constrain, the roadmap ahead. Architecture as a shared, legible plan, not a diagram nobody reads.

Questions

Good to know.

Do we keep control of the work?

Yes. With resource augmentation and dedicated teams you own the roadmap, priorities and acceptance of work. Flicker engineers join your tools, rituals and codebase. For a scoped project we agree ownership, milestones and acceptance criteria in a statement of work.

How do you handle security and compliance?

We agree confidentiality, access controls, data handling and any client-specific requirements before onboarding. Engineers use your approved tools and least-privilege access. Any compliance evidence you need is confirmed for the specific engagement rather than assumed.

Who owns the intellectual property?

Ownership, assignment and permitted use of pre-existing materials are set out explicitly in the contract. We align delivery with your ownership requirements; the signed agreement governs each engagement.
